We don’t all have to be fashionistas or fashionistos to appreciate footgear. Check out some of my extraordinary friends that I’ve featured with their favorite shoes.

I don’t have many friends that are moms. Becca (to the right) is definitely one of them. Her brilliant daughter, Elise, hangs out with my girls.

Together, this mom and daughter have shown us how to make the world’s best slime (with glitter, of course), flower adornment from the garden, and fun backyard games during the COVID summer. They both make climbing trees and secret handshakes looks good when wearing cute outdoorsy Xeros and Skechers footgear like theirs.

Paige

Paige not only helped kickstart my business with her amazing and quick web building skills. She is also my longtime “go-to guru” for all things graphics and web-related. I love bouncing ideas off her for new blog page formats. When I asked her what she loves to adorn her feet with these days, it was a no-brainer for her - Flip-Flops! Especially now that she works from home.

My sweet bestie, and all-around inspiring “get shit done” friend, Dustin Martin-Young, @DMY89 in Air Max 720 Be True. He on some alien shit. I’m convinced he has zero fears. Dustin will push me and support me in a very unapologetic way. This is why he will always be my BBF. {Insert heart emoji here.}

Taurean King, the well-loved chef in Atlanta and abroad, Ice Ibrahima FB spot flexes mostly in work shoes. He’s ALWAYS in the kitchen. So wearing the most comfortable FHX work boots is a must.

Ibrahim is a breath of fresh air that nurtures my creative spirit through love and food. OMGoddess, have you had his collard greens or ANYTHING else on his menu? YUM!

DJ Stan Zeff @StanZeff will make you move whether you want to or not. His house music will transcend you to Africa and leave you in what’s def an enriched feeling as if you’ve been healed from it all! What blues? Stan AKA Awinlaati has blessed me with Afro-beats for the past four years and counting. I love how easy going and laid back of person he is in our friendship. This gentleman’s handcrafted footgear hails from Europe (informative article here). Good luck finding a pair of these snazzy kicks.

It does not get much more ATL dope than DJ Bishop Don @ReggieBishop. He fo' real, fo' real drips with Atlanta vibe, fashion, culture, sounds, and something that makes the ladies giggle. Come kick it with my dude at various local hot spots, but be sure you have on a pair of sneaks as dope as his Nike Air Jordan 1 Pines or whatever will get you through a night of elbows up side-to-side rockin’.

Deeds

Above: is my homie, Deeds. Deeds is an artist with a passion for biking. I’m also honored to have him as my art mentor. If you’re riding on the Silver Comet Bike Trail in ATL, say what’s up.

To the left: are my brother and sister-in-law. They are most definitely on my list for relationship goals. Carl and Telisa do everything together! He literally found a true best friend when he met her. Of course, my brother would say his wedding sandals are his faves and it is so efin’ cute that Telisa chose the chucks from their Halloween costume. I’m thinking she built the costume around the shoes, fo’ real.

It really doesn’t get any sweeter.
